child recovered. Saint Willibald, when he was a grown man,
journeyed with his father, Saint Richard, and brother to go on a
missionary pilgrimage to Rome and the Holy Land. Saint Richard,
renounced his royal estate before his journey while his daughter
entered a convent. In Italy, Saint Richard became ill and died, and
was buried in Tuscany in the Church of San Frediano. Many
miracles happened at his tomb. Some of his relics were sent to
Eichstatt, Germany, where Winnebald, his son later became a
Bishop.
