Saint Valentine
Saint Valentine receives a rosary

The 14th of February is the Feast day of Saint Valentine of Rome
(c. 270). He is the patron saint of affianced couples, against
fainting, beekeepers, happy marriages, love, plague, and epilepsy.
The following is from Butler’s Lives of the Saints:
VALENTINE was a holy priest in Rome,
who, with St. Marius and his family,
assisted the martyrs in the persecution
